No. 13 St. Mary's Called Upon To Host NCAA Sectional
St. Mary's College of Maryland was selected by the NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Committee to serve as one of the four sectional host sites this Friday-Saturday, March 12-13 as 16 teams (from the original field of 61) still remain on the quest for the right to claim the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship title.

No. 13 Seahawks Still Alive in NCAA Tournament
To student chants of "I believe we will win!," senior guard Camontae Griffin raced down the court and put the finishing touches on the lay-up that thrust No. 13 St. Mary's College of Maryland back into the Sweet 16. St. Mary's edged No. 11 Virginia Wesleyan College, 72-69, as the Seahawks fed off the energy of 871 strong at the Michael P. O'Brien Athletics & Recreation Center Arena Saturday night.

No. 11 Virginia Wesleyan Edges Richard Stockton, 85-82
The Virginia Wesleyan College men's basketball team needed to hold on for an 85-82 victory over The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in first round action of the 2010 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Championship with St. Mary's College of Maryland serving as the host site Friday night. Five Virginia Wesleyan players reached double figures.
